Judge denies Lindsay Clancy’s request for two-part murder trial

The judge overseeing Lindsay Clancy's murder case has denied a request to split her upcoming trial into two phases. The judge stated that the question of her guilt and criminal responsibility are overlapping issues that don't need to be split. Her lawyer, Kevin Reddington, is mounting an insanity defense. The trial will take place in Duxbury, Massachusetts, in July, with the accused killing her three children in 2023.
