Swedish Hospital shooting: Memorial grows for slain Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew

Chicago Police Officer John Bartholomew, who served with the department for 10 years, was one of two officers shot at Swedish Hospital over the weekend. The second officer, who remains in critical condition, was also identified as 57-year-old male officer. The suspect, who allegedly shot both officers, was arrested after allegedly fleeing the hospital without clothes. Blue ribbons and flowers were placed outside CPD's 17th District where both officers were based. The incident occurred at around 9 a.m. on Saturday, with witnesses describing the moment the suspect was arrested. The police are not releasing a photograph of the suspect in relation to the shooting.
