Showers, thunderstorms in store for islands: NWS

The National Weather Service (NWS) has warned of heavy rain and thunderstorms across the Hawaiian Islands on Friday, April 10. The rain is expected to move down the island chain from Kauai County to Oahu, bringing spotty rain showers and heavy rainfall. All islands remain under a flood watch due to excessive rainfall. A small craft advisory is still in effect for all islands until 6 p.m.
