Barnyard Babies Fest hosts unique animal encounters in Bonner Springs

The National Agricultural Hall of Fame's biggest event of the year, the Barnyard Babies Festival, held in Bonner Springs, Kansas. The festival allowed visitors to interact with young animals, including ducks, chicks, lambs, calves and young alpacas. Among the animals at the festival were three lambs born at JET Produce in Leavenworth, which were bottle-raised and named by employees at the produce farm. In addition to the animal exhibits, Great American Kites presented a flying display of approximately 12 giant kites throughout the day.
