Suspect injured in officer-involved shooting near Park, 22nd in Tucson

Police responded to an officer-involved shooting near East 22nd Street and South Park Avenue in Tucson, Arizona, on April 10. The suspect was taken to the hospital, but no one else was injured. This is the third officer involved shooting in southern Arizona this week. The Pima Regional Critical Incident Team was activated to investigate, as is normal for all officer-related shootings in the county. There have been three officer-interfees this week and seven this year.
