Edko Films has revealed that ten award-winning actors, including major Hong Kong actors Chow Yun Fat, Aaron Kwok, Tony Leung Ka Fai and Louis Koo, have joined the cast of its upcoming action thriller, Cold War 1994. The film is a prequel to police procedurals Cold War and Cold War 2, which together grossed over $13M at the Hong Kong box office. The cast includes international actors Aidan Gillen and Hugh Bonneville, with Daniel Wu making his return to Hong Kong cinema after a six-year absence. The release date has not yet been announced.
