Leftover precipitation & blowing dust with cooler air

The weather has been mostly mild across New Mexico, with temperatures starting to rise above the average of around 60°. However, a drop in the jet stream is expected to result in colder air and more rain showers across the northwest half of the region. The approaching system will bring some wind gusts and potentially a significant amount of rain, but also potentially significant amounts of snowfall. The weather will be followed by a cold snap on Good Friday.
