Former Sen. Kyrsten Sinema says affair with married man happened outside of NC, wants case dismissed

Kyrsten Sinema, the former U.S. Senator of Arizona, is seeking dismissal of a lawsuit filed by a Moore County woman alleging that she engaged in a romantic relationship with the man, who was still married, causing her marriage to end. However, Sinema argues that the affair took place outside of North Carolina and therefore violates the state's law of alienation of affection. The lawsuit alleges that Sinemanda was involved with a married man who was part of her security team at the time. Sinemande claims that the relationship was never physically intimate in North Carolina.
