The GeekWire Awards is celebrating the growing climate tech sector and other areas of innovation to protect our planet. The award, presented by Amazon, recognises the Pacific Northwest's leaders in this space. This year's finalists include Helion, IUNU, OCOChem, Ravel and TerraPower. The event will be held on May 7 at the Showbox SoDo in Seattle. Carbon Robotics, an ag-tech company developing weed-killing machines that use artificial intelligence and computer vision to identify and remove unwanted plants, won last year. The finalists were chosen by a panel of independent judges from community nominations. Voting is open until April 10.
