Experts have warned that shark sightings on the Southern California coast are becoming more frequent. Drone footage shows surfers paddling inches away from great white sharks. This is due to unusually warm ocean temperatures and a potential El Niño potentially moving sharks closer to shore. Visual artist Bob Ridges captured this footage while out paddling. Researchers are monitoring local waters for signs of a "sharky summer."
