The Mets managed just five hits in the game, marking their 0-for-3 with runners in scoring position. This loss follows five consecutive good starts from the Mets' rotation, with several strong outings from Nolan McLean, Clay Holmes, Kodai Senga and Freddy Peralta. The Giants' bullpen also contributed to the loss.
