President Donald Trump has stated he will not apologize for his criticism of Pope Leo XIV, whom he called "weak" because he had spoken out against the Iran war. The president posted a lengthy Truth Social post criticising the Pope, calling him "WEAK on Crime, and terrible for Foreign Policy" and stated that he was responding to Pope Leo's disagreement on the Iran War. He also stated that his preference for Pope Louis over Pope's brother, stating that he gets it better.
