The 21-year-old University of Kent law student, Annabelle Mackay, has spoken about her experience of surviving a meningitis infection. She believes she may have contracted the disease on the same day as the previous incident. So far, there have been 29 cases linked to the outbreak and a vaccination programme is being implemented for students.
