Two people were arrested for drunk driving in the same car in Franklin, Massachusetts, within an hour of each other's arrest. The 24-year-old driver was driving under the influence of alcohol and was charged with OUI, negligent operation, speeding, and possession of an open container. His passenger, who was also visibly impaired at the time of the stop, was not arrested. An hour later, the same passenger showed up at the Franklin Police Department, where he was arrested on the spot and charged with driving under influence. The incident occurred when the first driver lost his car to a tow truck after being caught speeding. The only injuries reported in either incident were minor.
