NM State progressing as the Aggies reach final stretch of spring

The New Mexico State Aggies have completed 12 of their 15 spring practices in 2026. Head coach Tony Sanchez is pleased with the progress his team has made so far. Three quarterbacks are currently competing for the starting role: Trey Hedden, Adam Damante and Kalani McLeod. This is considered the best three we've had in a room since Sanchez has been at NMSU. The final two practices of the spring will focus on special teams execution.
