Jordi Fernandez calls out Nets starters following humilating Heat defeat

The Nets lost their ninth consecutive game to the Heat, marking their longest losing streak this season and the worst in the NBA. Coach Jordi Fernández had a strong word with his team following the loss, particularly with Michael Porter Jr. being taken off the court with nine points and nine minutes remaining in the third quarter. The Nets also committed 18 costly turnovers, including 12 from two rookies. Despite this, Fernáandez challenged his team to play as hard as they can and to live in the moment. He also challenged his best player, Porter Jr., who had previously averaged 25.6 points per game in the first 38 games of the season, to grow and learn from this poor performance. The team's performance was described as "an all-around stinker" by Nic Claxton.
