A 71-year-old man was hit and killed by a vehicle on Gallatin Pike, near the intersection of the highway. The vehicle was driven by a 2019 Hyundai Sonata and the pedestrian was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center. There is no evidence of impairment for both the driver and the passenger.
