“KPop Demon Hunters” won the Oscar for best animated feature at the Academy Awards, beating out other films including “Arco,” “Elio,“Little Amélie or the Character of Rain” and “Zootopia 2.” The film was directed by Maggie Kang and Chris Appelhans, and produced by Michelle L.M. Wong. This makes them the first female Asian winners in best animated film.
