Bluesky's new app, Attie, uses AI to give users full control over their social feed. The standalone app was unveiled at the ATmosphere conference by Jay Graber, who stepped down from his CEO role to build it. It is built on the AT Protocol and powered by Anthropic’s Claude. Attie can help users build personalised social feeds by describing what they want in plain language, the same as any other AI assistant. The app is currently invite-only and available initially to conference attendees; a public waitlist is open. The longer-term goal is to allow users to create social applications from scratch, not just customise feeds.
