Severe storms move through WAFB area, knock out power

A line of severe weather moved through the WAFB viewing area, causing multiple tornado warnings and leaving thousands without power. In Pointe Coupee Parish, the main transmitting line for Pointe Cevo Electric was brought down, adding to the number of outages. The main threat to the viewing area had reportedly subsided by 9 p.m.
