Quarterback P.J. Walker retires at 31 years old after overcoming odds for NFL shot

P.J. Walker, a former Temple University quarterback, has announced his retirement from football at the age of 31. He had been playing in the Canadian Football League for the Calgary Stampeders but confirmed his decision to step down completely. After going undrafted and landing on the Colts' practice squad, Walker became a major player in the XFL, where he led the league's passing touchdowns. He also played for the Panthers and made an active roster in 2020. His last game in the NFL was with the Cleveland Browns in 2023.
