Rodrigo Garcia's first Netflix series, “Santita,” is set to air on April 22. The series follows María José Cano, aka Santita, a wheelchair-bound woman who is forced to confront her past after a car accident. The film stars Gael García Bernal, Ilse Salas, and Erik Hayser as Santita's love rival. The seven-episode series was written and created by Luis Cámara and Gabrielle Galanter. The story is set in Tijuana and follows a woman who regularly plays poker, bets at cockfights, and craves for a better sex life.
