Paul McCartney has announced the release of his 18th studio album, The Boys of Dungeon Lane, which is set to be released on May 29. The album is described as a nostalgic look back at McCartney's formative years and is prefaced by the wistful first single, "Days We Left Behind." The album was recorded with producer Andrew Watt five years ago and is said to be McCartney's most introspective album yet. The songs, which cover various genres, are said to depict McCartney's childhood in postwar Liverpool and his experiences with future Beatles bandmates John Lennon and George Harrison.
