Diane Warren responds to record-breaking Oscars loss

Diane Warren, the songwriter and Can't Fight the Moonlight songwriter, lost her 17th Oscar nomination for Best Original Song at the Academy Awards, making her the record-breaking person to not yet have a competitive Oscar. Despite not having yet won a competitive award, Warren made light of her loss on social media and promised to return in 2027. She has been nominated every year since 2016 and is likely to return again in 2023.
