X Factor star, Slimani, has been convicted of drink-driving after consuming 40 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath in Southgate, north London, last December. The legal limit is 35mg. He was disqualified from driving for a year and fined. Slimani claimed he consumed whisky and a cold and flu medicine before he was pulled over. He did not inform police about any other drugs or medicines, stating his mind was moving at 600,000 mph when he was arrested. The conviction has led to fears of the press, the loss of his reputation, and the potential loss of work.
