He reportedly traveled from California to the nation's capital by train and checked in as a guest at the hotel. He was armed with multiple guns and a knife as he rushed towards the ballroom where the event was being held. President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump and all event attendees were not harmed. Allen, a professional game designer and tutor from Torrance, also has a master's degree in computer science from California State University-Dominguez Hills. He is facing preliminary charges related to using a firearm and assaulting a dangerous weapon.
