The 59-year-old comedian revealed that his heart stopped beating and he was told he was turning "purple" when he woke up in the ambulance. Following the incident, a brain scan revealed "about five to seven holes" in his brain, which has affected his memory. Since then, Dick has been living in a sober living community where he is not allowed to use any substances.
