The Best AI Employees Don’t Use It for Speed—They Use It to Think, Study Finds

A study by U.S. financial giant KPMG LLP and business researchers at the University of Texas has found that the most sophisticated AI users use the powerful technology to enhance their work. The study involved months of study into how thousands of KPUG’s own workers used AI and over a million interactions. The research also identified consistent patterns in AI usage, including the complexity of tasks worked on and if workers iterated their AI tool prompts over time. However, the study also revealed that only around five percent of AI users consistently use these habits, which could be used as models for other workers.
