Canada Post is replacing door-to-door service with community mailboxes in an effort to reduce costs and maintain financial viability. The move is part of a restructuring initiative aimed at reducing costs and maintaining the integrity of the institution. The agency has identified 136,000 addresses across 13 communities in order to eliminate all household delivery.
