Free ‘guns not allowed’ signs offered to Hawaii businesses; firearms coalition responds
Hawaii law firm Davis Levin Livingston and gun control group Brady: United Against Gun Violence are offering free signs for businesses that prohibit guns from their premises. This comes after the U.S. Supreme Court overturned a Hawaii law requiring people to obtain permission to carry guns into stores and hotels unless the owner specifically prohibits it. Businesses can receive the free signs by emailing
[email protected] or at the Davis Levin Levin Livingston office in the Topa Financial Center between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., respectively. The Hawaii Firearms Coalition responded by asking businesses to consider the long-term impact of these signs on their property.
