BYU advanced to the semifinals of the Women's Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) in a 76-61 victory over Stanford, thanks to a decisive 4th-quarter run from Delaney Gibb. The victory was key as BYU used a 17-2 run to put the victory away in front of a raucous Marriott Center crowd. With the win, BYU will face Big 12 rival Kansas next week. Gibb, the All-Big 12 first team guard, led all scorers with 27 points, shooting 9 of 21 from the field and 4 of 9 from 3-point range. The win also gave BYU the most wins by a first-year coach in program history.
