PBS and PBS.org are launching a four-part global series, "Shared PLANET", which features inspiring stories of people and wildlife flourishing together. The series covers dozens of countries and features individuals from all walks of life interacting with nature in innovative ways. The Emmy Award-winning team includes Neil Nightingale, Jeff Turner, and Justin Maguire. The show premieres on PBS, PBS. The first episode is titled "Cities", which highlights people reshaping urban life and sharing space with wildlife. The second episode focuses on environmental efforts in Borneo to Guatemala, where efforts are underway to plant native trees within palm oil plantations, creating wildlife corridors for orangutan families. The final episode will be "Waters," which focuses on hope in the freshwaters of Alaskan's Bristol Bay, Alaska, and will showcase efforts to balance sustainable livelihoods with environmental challenges.
