The Huntsville Comic & Pop Culture Expo, known as "Alabama's largest celebration of all things geek," is set to celebrate its 11th year at the Von Braun Center in Huntsville. The event's founder, Jeremy Long, revealed that the first year saw about 1,500 attendees and has seen over 20,000 in the past few years. The Expo includes over 200 vendors, artists, authors, cosplay contests, gaming room, panel discussions, and more. Tickets cost $35 and a portion of the proceeds go to local nonprofit Kids to Love, supporting children in foster care. Other notable events include a joint panel with the original Pink Power Ranger, Amy Jo Johnson and her successor, Catherine Sutherland.
