Hollywood fixer RJ Cipriani is embroiled in a legal dispute with Paramount president Jeff Shell, alleging that he received inside intel about discussions between billionaire Larry Ellison and President Trump regarding Paramount's acquisition of Warner Bros. Discovery. CIPriani claims that Shell told him about the studio’s acquisition of WBD and how Trump was involved in the plans. The court papers also mention Trump's influence to get a new sequel in the “Rush Hour” franchise. Shell has responded by counterclaiming that he was the victim of a “shakedown” and claiming that he is innocent. The new court filing also adds defendants including RedBird CEO Gerryale and the Paramount board (with the exception of former Paramount chief Sherry Lansing).
