Carey Mulligan Accepts a Royal Honor in Fresh-Off-the-Runway the Row

Actor Carey Mulligan has been awarded a Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) honor, recognising her contributions to drama in the UK and beyond. The award was presented to Mulligan at Windsor Castle and presented to her by King Charles III. The ceremony took place ahead of the second season of Beef and was attended by Mulligan's husband, Marcus Mumford. The highest-ranking award is the highest-level level of recognition and is one step towards a knighting as a Sir or a Dame.
