The UK's Economy Minister, Caomihe Archibald, has proposed a proposal to the executive for the £30 electricity reduction scheme that will be implemented in July. The larger of the two levies removed from bills in the UK does not exist in the country, accounting for the smaller saving seen on NI bills. The scheme may not be operating until later in the year.
