The Iranian Environmental Protection Organization has advised people to stay indoors due to the highly acidic and dangerous oil rainfall, which can cause chemical burns to the skin and severe lung damage. The conflict and the closure of the Strait of Hormuz have resulted in a spike in gas prices, with the national average for gas being $3.54.
