Yankees’ Max Fried needed an adjustment to continue stretch of dominance over Red Sox

New York Yankees' Max Fried, who had been unhappy with his windup during a game against the Red Sox due to two walks he issued in the first two innings, was prompted by his pitching coach, Matt Blake, to suggest an adjustment. Fried, however, started pitching out of the stretch in the third inning and didn't allow another walk, resulting in a 1.10 ERA over five games against Boston since joining the Yankees last season. He is now 3-1 with a 2.40 ERA over six starts this season.
