Merseyside chief constable pulls over speeding driver on way to work

Rob Carden, the Chief Constable of Merseyside Police, has revealed that he pulled over a speeding driver on his way to work. The incident occurred during a discussion about red light running in Liverpool. Carden acknowledged that standards on the roads were not good and that the force is actively working to improve road safety. He started his policing career in 1992 and returned to his homeland in 2025.
