The couple were identified as Donald Mardon and Elsie Maxwell, who died in a highway crash in Nov.09. The California Highway Patrol reported that a silver Toyota Highlander had veered off the roadway on northbound Highway 101 at the Highway 37 connector. The collision occurred at around 12:22 a.m.
