EPA appoints industry players and academics to its Science Advisory Board

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has appointed academics and industry representatives to its Science Advisory Board (SAB), which provides scientific advice to the EPA administrator. Several of the board members are from the chemical industry, including Dow Chemical, Corteva Agriscience, and two employees of Chemours. The board also includes representatives from ExxonMobil Biomedical Sciences and from universities such as Columbia, Columbia, Notre Dame, Ohio State University, Cornell University, Yale University, University of Missouri, and the University of Idaho. The appointments come more than a year after the board was dismissed.
