On Feb. 26, police observed a speeding black Lincoln Corsair traveling 85 mph in a 60-mph zone on I-77, leading to the driver fleeing the police. He initially pulled over but reneged on the highway and hit speeds exceeding 127 mph. The driver changed his story and admitted to having warrants. He was charged with failure to comply, speeding, reckless operation, and non-mandance. The passenger, who performed the driver's hair, was not charged.
