Mother of Genesis Reid charged with capital murder, officials to search landfill for child’s remains

Adrienne Reid, the mother of missing toddler Genesis Reid, has been charged with capital murder and corpse abuse. Her remains have not yet been found. A massive search is planned for a landfill using modern techniques and specialized equipment. The charges stem from a video allegedly showing Reid throwing a duffel bag with Genesis' remains into a dumpster. The cause of death has not been disclosed.
