A spate of burglaries in the South Bay has left business owners on high alert, with some fearing they may be targeted again. The most recent incident occurred at Cafe Galu, a popular coffee shop in Chula Vista, where two masked men used a tool to shatter the front glass door. Despite the loss, no items were taken, but the damage to the door is estimated at around $800. The owners, Paulina and Francisco Marquez, shared the surveillance video in hopes of raising awareness and preventing further crimes. They plan to invest in a more advanced alarm system and are seeking information about the burglaries.
