Italian cyclist, Deborah Silvestri, was hospitalised following a crash during the women’s Milan-San Remo one-day classic. Several cyclists were involved in the crash, which occurred during the descent of the Cipressa climb. Despite being hospitalised, Silvestre remained conscious and is expected to be assessed at a later date. The winner of the race was Lotte Kopecky.
