Sales of Tesla's China-made electric vehicle rose by 8.7% from the previous year to 85,670 vehicles in March, extending the gains for a fifth consecutive month. The company is shifting towards broader use of its vehicles and focusing on expanding into other sectors of the market. The sales of the Model 3 and Y, which are made in its Shanghai factory, increased by 46.2% from February.
