Tesla's cheaper vehicles are not helping the company's overall sales, according to first-quarter figures. The company delivered 358,023 EVs globally in the first quarter, below analysts' expectations of around 368,000. However, it also produced far more than sold and built 408,386, making it only deliver about 6% more cars in Q1 2025. This is expected to result in a decline in overall sales for the third consecutive year. Tesla's profits are also decreasing as the company struggles to grow EV sales. The only new model Tesla has released over the past few years is the Cybertruck, which outsells most other all-electric trucks.
