Financial relief approved for Salina residents impacted by poor water quality

The Salina City Commission has approved a new water rate relief pilot program for residents affected by poor water quality. The program will offer rebates dating back to 2025 and will help cover the costs of in-effectively in-human filtration systems. The initiative is being developed from scratch and will be based on water quality testing at affected homes.
