Bowie man held without bond in carjacking of Prince George’s County clerk courts

Mahasin El Amin, the elected clerk of the Circuit Court for Prince George's County, was carjacked at gunpoint last week and led to the arrest of Kairee Hicks, 18, from Bowie. Hicks is being held without bond and facing an attempted murder charge in a separate shooting. El Amin described the incident as the most terrifying moment of her life. The gun recovered during the arrest was linked to a prior shooting and Hicks has been charged with attempted first-degree murder in that case.
