Rembrandt's Vision of Zacharias in the Temple rediscovered after 65 years

Dutch artist Rembrandt's Vision of Zacharias in the Temple, from 1633, was rediscovered after it was sold into a private collection in 1961. The Rijksmuseum confirmed its authenticity after studying the paints used during the painting and its stylistic and thematic similarities. The painting depicts a Biblical scene when high priest Zachariases is told he and his wife will have a son.
